Donn Rappaport

Donn Rappaport is the former Chairman and Chief Executive officer of Adstra Data (formerly ALC, Inc.), a company he founded in 1978 and for which he currently serves on its Board of Directors. Today, Adstra is the industry-leading provider of 1st party data marketing solutions. It’s mission: To enable organizations to grow, increase market share and improve bottom-line profitability through the innovative use of data.

Headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey, Adstra fields sales, marketing and account management teams in five additional markets across the country: New York City, Minneapolis, Chicago, Dallas, and San Francisco.

Adstra clients and partners include the leaders in virtually every business category, including retail and eCommerce, financial services, media and entertainment, B2B, technology and non-profit fundraising. Adstra’s retail practice, Belardi Wong, provides customer acquisition and monetization services to more than 300 top retail “digitally native vertical brands” (the industry’s fastest-growing sector). Adstra’s non-profit practice provides donor acquisition services to more than 100 leading not-for-profit organizations. Widely regarded as a pioneer in the innovative use of data to fuel business growth and profitability, Donn helped spearhead the evolution of data marketing from traditional media to a broad array of on-line, as well as dynamic off-line and fully integrated, omni-channel solutions for customer acquisition, retention, monetization and long-term value.

As Chairman & CEO of Adstra, Donn formed the Adstra Annual Charitable Giving Fund, which was specifically geared to provide a vehicle for its employees to support humanitarian efforts intended to maintain a caring society where the basic needs of children, family, health, nature and education are met. To date, the fund has contributed more than a half million dollars to such wonderful charities as Habitat for Humanity, Make a Wish Foundation, Children’s Cancer Research Fund and dozens of other worthy organizations.

In addition, Donn and his wife, Susan, sponsored the development of a research initiative within the Penn State University Child Study Center to determine why some children are more vulnerable than others to child sexual abuse (the idea being to arm our kids with information, awareness and tools to better defend themselves against child predators and stay out of harm’s way).

Donn currently serves as the Managing Partner of LEAP Ventures, an investment firm he founded and is dedicated to investing in and advising early stage, data-enabled businesses.

Donn and Susan have six children and two grandchildren. They currently reside in Sarasota, FL, Princeton, NJ and Waitsfield, VT.
